Dr. Benway

Ana Lyssie Cotton

Collins, Missouri (Vanessa/Garrison) A small town provides the chance for two people to live out their dream. An eloquent portrayal of these characters and the power of a dream.

Iron Crown (Authority) Jack Hawksmoor contemplates the responsibilities of leadership. Truthful and witty, this story is set around Authority 13.

More of DuAnn Cowart's stories can be found at the Cable & Domino Archive and at the X-Force Archive.

Susan Crites

Reactivist (TCP) When the unthinkable happens, one man takes it upon himself to make the world a better place. This is one of the best TCP stories out there. Full of wit, caring, and consciousness, it is a must read! Alternate Timelines Feature Story: February  2000!

Indigo

Blood is thicker than Bullets (Deadpool/Deathstroke) Wade Wilson and Slade Wilson meet when they find themselves after the same target. Written in the unique style of the late, Theodore Geisel (aka Dr. Seuss), this is one of the wittiest stories you will find.

Nes Gadol Haya Sham (Kitty/Marrow/Dr. Reyes) Kitty drafts two of her fellow X-Men on a relief run to war torn Genosha. This is a beautiful tale of hope.

Nightly (Alfred) We often fail to realize the effect our actions have on those we love. Even if you know nothing about Batman - Read This Story. I promise you won't regret it.

Fightin' Irish (Draco) Donal Finnegan cannot understand why a certain costumed hero won't leave him alone.  Kaylee's Draco is a fascinating adaptation of Jason Todd. In fact, her work with this character is so good, that it has inspired quite a few other authors to try their hand at telling his story. You can find out more about this incarnation of Jason Todd at Crime Alley and the Dracoverse.

The Kinda Mooks Series:

A Different Kinda Craving (Bobby/Remy) Imagine the nervousness of a new relationship. Now imagine Robert Drake in a new relationship. Kaylee calls them "the mooks." Which they are - but they are also great fun to read. :) Warning: m/m relationship (nothing explicit)- if this offends you, go elsewhere.

A Special Kinda Savoring (Bobby/Remy) The follow-up to A Different Kinda Craving . Afraid of messing anything up, Bobby tries very hard to make sure he gets it all - just right. This one is absolutely hilarious - in a mooky sorta way. :) Warning: m/m relationship (nothing explicit)- if this offends you, go elsewhere.

He Kinda Sorta Maybe Loves Him (Bobby/Remy) The tale of how it all started - how "the mooks" got together. Simply too sweet. :) Warning: m/m relationship (nothing explicit)- if this offends you, go elsewhere.

A Mooky Kinda PWP (Remy/Bobby) Two Mooks, one closet. Kaylee says this one is her attempt at 'pure smut,' personally I say it is 'pure mooky.' :) Warning: m/m relationship (nothing explicit)- if this offends you, go elsewhere.

An Open Kinda Closet (Bobby/Remy) The time has come for the mooks to tell the rest of the X-Men about their relationship. Sweet and hilarious - you will Love Scott in this one. :) Warning: m/m relationship (nothing explicit)- if this offends you, go elsewhere.

Any Kinda Breath: Part 1, Part 2, (in progress). (Bobby/Remy) The Mooks become serious. As Remy faces further complications from his time in Antarctica, and the consequences of the habits of a lifetime - Bobby must deal with the changes in his life and the threats facing the man he loves. Kaylee has outdone herself with this one! Warning: m/m relationship (nothing too terribly explicit)- if this offends you, go elsewhere.

The Death of Xavier Trilogy:

Tombstone (Magnus) A visit at an old friend's grave. Powerful. Poignant. Unbelievably Good.

Til Christmas (Xavier) A chronicle of Xavier's last days. Although this is technically the prequel to Tombstone , it is meant to be read AFTER that story. Trust me. The effect of these stories is most heart-wrenching if you read them in the proper order.

To Guard A Gate (Magnus) How does the death of Charles Xavier affect his greatest friend and adversary? The chronological sequel to Tombstone .

More of Kaylee's stories can be found at the Cable & Domino Archive.

Lynx

Heart In The Grip Of Winter (TCP) A dark future where one woman's life is measured in moments of warmth. Powerful imagery.

Mind Doesn't Matter (TCP)  In a world of mutants, vampires, and were-wolves, one girl simply tries to live. A complex and powerful piece.

Alicia McKenzie

A Crazy Kinda Way To Spend The Afternoon (Remy/Bobby/Cable) Bobby awakes to find he and Remy are prisoners of Genoshan separatists, and they are not alone. Set in the world of Kaylee's Mooks, this tongue-in-cheek tribute is guaranteed to make you smile.

Dickensian Moments (Authority) It's Christmas, and the Midnighter and Apollo find themselves reflecting on the changes in their lives over the course of the previous year. Stories like this one are the reason I started reading the Authority. Part of the 1999 Holiday Fanfic Project! For more Authority fan-fiction check out Allegiance

Icons Set one thousand years in the future, a teacher shares the legacy of the X-Men with her students, and then stands witness to the destruction of that legacy. This is one of Alicia's most powerful stories, and one of my personal favorites. So just go ahead and read it! :) Alternate Timelines Feature Story: January 2000!

L'Anima Del Libro (TCP) A woman's unique ability grants her a special appreciation for the written word. Absolutely lovely - and I'm not just saying this because I want this ability. :)

Brian Newberry

A Cold Clear Night (Iceman) It takes a great deal of courage to share yourself with a friend. It takes a great friend to accept that gift. A beautifully written story about a very sensitive matter.

Northlight

Heroics (Scott) Sometimes it is the little things that define a hero. A lighthearted piece that will make you smile.

Matt Nute

Open Fires (Blaquesmith, Aliya) Set in the early days of the Clan Chosen, Blaquesmith returns with a new weapon for their battle against Apocalypse. This story is rich in detail and features beautifully realized characters. Highly recommended.

More of Alara Roger's stories can be found at the Cable & Domino Archive.

Amanda Sichter

Alice Moving Under Skies (TCP) A special woman shares her gift, with the children of her town. A hauntingly bittersweet story.

Unidentified Human Remains & The True Nature of Love: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7, Part 8, Part 9 (Kitty/Pete) In the years since he left Excalibur, Pete Wisdom has found a new life as a consultant to Scotland Yard, now a difficult case requires him to call on his former partner and ex-girlfriend for assistance. A marvelous mystery that will have you on the edge of your seat and begging for more.

Upon A Peak In Darien (TCP) A woman deals with unexpected news and a terrible decision. This is a beautiful examination of the power of love.
