Summary Notes:
As any reader of X-Force could tell you, the events surrounding the origin of everyone's favorite inter-dimensional, time-traveling half-alien warrior known as Shatterstar are a wee bit confusing to say the least. This is the way *I* would have told his story. My version breaks from normal continuity at X-Force #55, so the relevant stuff you should know goes as follows: Rictor is not back on the team yet, Deadpool is still at the Weisman Institute, Skids has been staying at the mansion ever since Avalon was destroyed, Graydon Creed's still running for the oval office, Spiral hasn't touched the Crimson Dawn stuff and Onslaught hasn't happened YET (it happens between the 3rd and 4th story).
This story's main characters are Shatterstar, Rictor, Deadpool, Spiral, Adam-X and Windsong set in the future of Mojoworld. Minor appearances by Cable, Xavier, Cannonball and Meltdown back on Earth just before Onslaught.

PROLOGUE: A lone man streaks boldly across the cosmos. He is on a mission. A mission to uncover the origins of the anti-religious race known as the Uncreated. This solitary mission was brought upon him by the Shi'ar Majestrix herself, Lilandra, in trade for secrets regarding his past. A past that was dubiously revealed to him by the recently deceased Davan Shakari, known on Earth as Eric the Red, that his father may be the former mad ruler of the Shi'ar Empire, Majestor D'Ken. Soon after defeating Shakari with the help of the Half-Kree hero known as Captain Marvel, Adam X the X-Treme went to Lilandra for help. The bargain was made, the mission was given and Adam-X obeyed, desperate to uncover the truth of his past and perhaps the true identity of his father, and perhaps his mother as well.
Given the Winged Destiny, a small craft fortified with powerful weapons and armament specifically designed to do battle with The Uncreated, Adam's search has brought him to all corners of the known universe and beyond. He has found something. A swirling cone of glowing purple and blue gases in the middle of nowhere. It is what appears to be a temporal anomaly. As Adam-X begins his sensor sweep of the cone, trying to assess its properties, the portal suddenly grows and envelopes Adam-X, only the latest prey of Major Domo's interdimensional "Space Snare".
He awakens in a mysterious and unknown territory, his shunt drive has been deactivated and he cannot raise the Central Command on Chandillar. Adam-X is alone, lost in space. He quickly begins scanning his surroundings to find his bearings. The Winged Destiny's sensors pick up a galactic dogfight off his port bow. As he views the battle intently, attempting to determine who they are, he intercepts a distress call from the rebel flagship. It is Windsong. He recognizes her immediately from his adventures with Shatterstar in Murderworld back on Earth. She is requesting reinforcements from the surface-world. X-Treme then rushes to her aide by vanquishing the Imperial Scarmakers with a spread of cluster bombs and well-placed laser fire, rescuing them all from certain death. He is then contacted by Windsong asking him who he is and why he helped them. He says he is Adam-X, special agent of the Shi'ar Empire in search of the Uncreated. . . and a friend of Shatterstar's.
